Ex-Hearts forward Selasi Adjei open to Ghana Premier League return

Former Hearts of Oak striker, Selasi Adjei says he will not hesitate to return to the Ghana Premier League if he is approached by a club.

Adjei is currently free after leaving Zambian club Nakambala Leopards following the expiration of his contract.

However, he disclosed that he will only move to a club that will table a good offer.

“The Ghana Premier League is a good game and if I get the chance I will play.

“But I’m looking at a club that will come with a good offer.

“The Ghana League provides good competition and I will love to play if the chance comes.

“So any club that is available with a good deal, I will love to join them,” Adjei said in a chat with Footy-Ghana.com.

The 26-year-old confirmed that three Ghanaian clubs have contacted him for his services in the upcoming season.

“Actually before the COVID-19, three different clubs contacted me for my service.

“By then I had to move to Cyprus but the COVID-19 came up so I could not move out.

“I also didn’t give the three clubs any response so I’m sure they have got my replacement.

“I can’t ell them anything regarding my readiness but if they are interested in me, I’m available,” he declared.

Selasi Adjei joined Hearts of Oak in 2013 from Division One side Amidaus Professionals but was offloaded in 2016.

The Ghanaian top-flight is tentatively scheduled to commence November 13, 2020, after the president lifted the ban on contact sports.
