Black Stars manager Carlos Queiroz has confirmed to Ghanaians that he really mean business in his four months stay in the country.

Just a day after his unveiling, the Portuguese international who has vast FIFA World Cup experience wasted no time in office but rather stepped outside to start his assessment of Ghanaian players.

He took to the Accra Sports Stadium to visit the Black Galaxies, currently in camp preparing for some friendly matches ahead.

Carlos Queiroz did the visitation together with some already existed technical team members including Desmond Offei and John Paintsil, assistant coaches of the Black Stars.

Goalkeeping trainer, Fatawu Dauda, who kept the post for the Black Stars during the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup also joined Queiroz to monitor proceedings of the home based players at training.

Also at the stadium was President of the Ghana Football Association, Kurt E. S. Okraku among other GFA officials.

Some Ghanaians have expressed happiness about the seriousness of the new Black Stars gaffer and how quickly he has responded to the task ahead of him.

Ghana plays Mexico on Friday May 22, 2026 and it most likely the home based Stars will be paraded for the game.
