The head coach of Berekum Chelsea has stated that the departure of Kalo Ouattara and Henry Ansu to Asante Kotoko, a prominent team in the Ghana Premier League, will not diminish the club’s prospects in the upcoming season.
Even though the two players played a significant role in the team’s performance during the 2022/23 season, the coach, Ennin, is confident that their absence will not negatively impact the club’s fortunes in the upcoming season. Ennin acknowledged the management’s notification of the players’ departure and assured that he is actively addressing the situation to ensure a smooth transition.
Ennin mentioned, “Now that the management has made me aware of their departure, I am also working around the clock to fix it so I don’t think it will bring any impact. We are working on it so, very soon we will see,” Ennin told Kessben Sports
The team, Bibires, is currently conducting their pre-season training in Kumasi and has plans for friendly matches to prepare the team effectively for the forthcoming season.
