Ghana Premier League side, Dreams FC has announced the addition of former Hearts of Oak and Ghanaian goalkeeper Sammy Adjei to their coaching staff as the goalkeepers trainer.

This legendary Ghanaian goalkeeper is set to bring his wealth of experience to enhance the goalkeeping department of the Still Believe side in preparation for the upcoming season.

As they gear up for their inaugural African campaign, the reigning FA Cup champions have enlisted Sammy Adjei to bolster their technical team.

The club officially introduced him as their new Goalkeeper Coach through a post on their official Facebook page.

Sammy Adjei holds a revered status in Ghana’s football history, having played a pivotal role in Hearts of Oak’s multiple title victories. He was also a crucial member of the Black Stars team that achieved their first-ever qualification for the FIFA World Cup.

His contributions were instrumental in Hearts of Oak’s impressive achievements, including winning the Ghana Premier League six consecutive times, clinching the CAF Champions League, and securing the CAF Super Cup in 2000 and 2001 against Esperance de Tunis and Zamalek of Egypt, respectively.

Dreams FC is slated to compete against Guinea’s Milo FC in the CAF Confederations Cup first preliminary round. The Still Believe team will kick off the tie with an away fixture in Guinea, followed by the return leg at the Accra Sports Stadium.
