Former Asante Kotoko midfielder Prince Acquah is on the verge of joining Ghana Premier League newcomers, Nations FC.

During the latter part of the 2022/23 football season, the 29-year-old played for Skyy FC, contributing to the team’s commendable second-place finish in the Division One League and their journey to the MTN FA Cup semifinals, based in Daboase.

Boasting an extensive career, the seasoned midfielder has previously represented Aduana FC and Heart of Lions following his departure from Asante Kotoko.

Nations FC, having recently secured promotion from Zone 2 of the Division One League, is strategically assembling a competitive squad as they prepare for their debut in the Ghana Premier League.

The potential inclusion of Prince Acquah in their lineup seems imminent, given that advanced negotiations between the player and the club are reportedly underway.

As Nations FC gears up for the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign, they are set to face their first challenge against MTN FA Cup holders, Dreams FC, in the season’s opening match at the Dr. Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
