Business mogul Alhaji Salamu Amadu ready to serve Kotoko as board member

Ambassador Alhaji Salamu Amadu, President of Afro Arab Group of Companies, has expressed his eagerness to serve Asante Kotoko as a board member.

As a devoted supporter of the club from a young age, he is enthusiastic about the opportunity to contribute to its success.

“Asante Kotoko is the only club I support in the world, and I’m always ready to serve on the Board anytime our patron, Otumfuo, calls me to come and serve,” he told Happy FM in an interview.

The previous board, led by Dr. Kwame Kyei, has been dissolved by the club owner, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, after their three-year term ended.

A four-man interim management committee has been appointed to oversee the club’s affairs until a new administration is established.

The committee’s responsibility includes ensuring the club meets its obligations in the Ghana Premier League and assembling a competitive team for the upcoming season.
