Simms dumps T.I Amass-Kumasi as OKESS obliterate OLAG in Semis

Simms Senior High School eliminated favorites T. I. Amass, Kumasi to book a ticket to the finals of the 2023 Ashanti Inter Schools Soccer Competition.

Tipped to win this game, last year finalist T. I. Amass were determined to stamp their authority in the game right from the blast of the whistle but found Simms opposition quite a tough customer to Crack. When Simms settled in the game, they dictated the pace of the game with their good passing game which unsettled Amass. Simms took a two goal lead bouyed on by the teaming crowd at the Baba Yara Stadium. Amass pulled one back in the dying embers of the game to end the game at 2:1 in fovour of Simms.

Simms are therefore through to the final.

The second match of the day was expected to be highly competitive but OKESS silenced their critics by dominating the game with cheeky ease and scoring six goals to one.

It was very exciting game as OKESS settled very well and created openings in the oposition half. OKESS managed to bag six goals to pick a final ticket and a date with Simms in the grand finale.
