‘I wish Hearts of Oak gets relegated’ – Takyi Arhin

Takyi Arhin, a management member of Aduana Stars, commonly known as ‘Thunder,’ has expressed his excitement at the prospect of Hearts of Oak being relegated from the topflight in the final fixtures of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League this weekend.
Hearts of Oak, led by David Ocloo, have been performing poorly recently and are currently on a four-game losing streak, resulting in their decline to the 11th position on the league table with 45 points.
To secure their survival, they must give their all in the match against Berekum Chelsea this Sunday. According to the dynamics of the league, a defeat could result in their relegation if clubs like Great Olympics, Accra Lions, Tamale City, and Legon Cities all achieve victories in their respective matches.
Speaking to Boss FM in Kumasi, the seasoned football administrator expressed his opinion that Hearts of Oak, being a big club, should never find themselves in such a precarious situation. However, he acknowledged that their current battle for survival reflects the circumstances and choices that led them there.
He went on to say that he would be the happiest person on earth if Hearts of Oak were relegated to the country’s second-tier league.
“I hope Berekum Chelsea beats Hearts of Oak and they get relegated. That would be the happiest day of my life because they brought this upon themselves with their incompetence and questionable actions.”
“How can you let clubs like Tamale City defeat you 4-1, Medeama 5-1, and RTU also beat you? Who can you blame but yourselves? Hearts is a big team, and there’s no excuse for their current position.”
