Nations FC two wins away from securing Premier League promotion

Asamoah Boateng Afriyie’s first-half goal secured Nations FC’s 19th win of the season as they defeated Pacific Heroes 1-0 at Nana Gyamfi Park in Bekwai on Monday.

The victory, their ninth consecutive, moves them closer to earning a place in the 2023/24 betPawa Premier League.

With 63 points, seven more than second-placed Daboase Skyy FC, Nations FC need just two more wins from their remaining three games to top Zone Two and clinch promotion, regardless of other results.

They will face WAFA, Soccer Intellectuals, and Asokwa Deportivo in their final fixtures.

If they secure promotion, they will join Asante Kotoko, Bibiani GoldStars, King Faisal, Medeama, Samartex, and Karela United as teams from Zone Two in the betPawa Premier League.
