betPawa Premier League team of the week announced, Kotoko players dominate

Abukari Damba’s Ghana Premier League week 22 team of the week is dominated by Asante Kotoko, with four players and their assistant coach included. Asante Kotoko, the reigning champions, secured a 2-1 victory over FC Samartex 1996 at Nsenkyire Park in Sameraboi, with Enock Morrison and Rocky Dwanena scoring for the Porcupine Warriors in the first half.

Accra Hearts of Oak, who are bitter rivals of Asante Kotoko, had one player, Caleb Amankwah, in the team of the week. Amankwah’s goal gave the Phobians a narrow triumph over the struggling Kotoku Royals.

Orlando Wellington, who is currently managing Asante Kotoko while coach Seydou Zerbo is away in Burkina Faso, was named as the coach of the week’s team. The team consists of goalkeeper Fredrick Asare from Kotoko, along with defenders Nicholas Osei Bonsu (Kotoko), Caleb Amankwah (Hearts of Oak), Joseph Adu Dwomoh (King Faisal), and Emmanuel Kotei (Nsoatreman). The midfield is made up of Richmond Lamptey (Kotoko), Abdul Karim (Bechem), Michel Otou (Legon Cities), and Enoch Morrison (Kotoko), while the attack features Jonathan Sowah (Medeama) and Sampson Eduku (Tamale City).
