2023 Nkawie Inter-School Sports Competition begins Wednesday; check out the details

Teachers and pupils in the Nkawie Circuit in the Atwima Nwabiagya Municipal will get busy again with sports activities immediately after the March 6th anniversary.
The sporting activities for the First Term of the 2023 academic year are scheduled to begin on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, and last until Friday, March 10, 2023.
The three-day event is set to be hosted by Kyereyase Basic School.
This will be the second time the Circuit is hosting sporting activities after the ban on sports in schools was lifted following the outbreak of COVID-19.

Ten schools are expected to compete for glory in various activities at the Junior High School (JHS) level and the Primary level. The sporting activities for the term include Football, Netball, and Volleyball.
Primary boys will compete in U-13 soccer, while girls will show their talents in netball.
At the JHS level, the Girls will participate in volleyball and football, while the Boys will engage themselves in volleyball.
The schools expected to take part are Nkawie Experimental B, Afari Presby,
St. Justin’s Anglican and Nkawie Panin M/A JHS.
Others are Nkawie Experimental A,
Islamic JHS, Kyereyase M/A JHS,
Kuffour M/A JHS, St. Paul’s Anglican and Nyamebekyere M/A Primary.
According to the directorate, the sports would be governed by the Ghana Education Service’s general norms, the Ghana Constitution, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports regulations on sports.
The Opening Ceremony will be held on Wednesday morning before the commencement of the first game at exactly 8:00 a.m.
