Match Report: Aduana Stars pip Hearts of Oak in Dormaa

It was all smiles at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park when Aduana Stars hosted Hearts of Oak on Match day one of the betPawa Premier League. 

The Ogya Boys showed class as they beat the Phobians 1-0 in a 2022/23 betPawa Premier league matchday one tie.

Aduana started the brighter of the two teams, causing problems for Hearts aerially.

Aduana’s efforts were finally rewarded in the 48th-minute when Sam Adams’ through pass found captain Bright Adjei, to connect for the only goal.

Hoping to avoid their first defeat of the season, Hearts pushed for the equaliser, but Aduana kept their composure and made little mistakes for the Rainbow boys to exploit. 

Hearts of Oak could do little to avoid the defeat to good Aduana Stars who are fired up to appease their fans this season after a poor performance last season.
