Great Olympics beat Bechem United to win GHALCA G6 tournament

Accra Great Olympics on Monday afternoon defeated B United to lift the 2022 GHALCA top 6 tournament.

The pre-season tournament was expected to end over the weekend. However, to not take the shine away from the clash between Ghana’s Black Galaxies and the Super Eagles B of Nigeria, the third-place and final of the tournament were pushed to today.

The Dade Boys recorded a 2-0 victory over the Hunters at the Accra Sports Stadium to clinch the trophy thanks to goals in each half.

Berekum Chelsea finished third after beating Medeama SC in the third-place match.

All six teams that played in the GHALCA G6 tournament have had a good tournament and are expected to use the next two weeks to conclude preparations for the start of the 2022/23 football season.
