GHALCA G6: Bechem United defeat Medeama to reach final

2021/22 FA Cup finalist Bechem United reached the final of the GHALCA G6 after beating Medeama in a thrilling semi-final contest on Friday afternoon. 

The Hunters defeated Karela United 3-2 and will now face the winner of the other semi-final match between Karela United and Great Olympics.

Bechem took the lead 14 minutes into the first half after a good team play.

Despite efforts to re-enter the game, Medeama SC were unable to break through the opponent’s defence.

Rashid Nortey converted a spot kick in the second half to draw Medeama level.

But two quick goals from Bechem United propelled them to victory.
