Real Tamale United striker Augustine Ronald Frimpong has signed a new contract with the northern giants ahead of the 2022/23 season.
The experienced forward has decided to stay for another season, after emerging as the club’s best player last term.
Frimpong has signed a one-year contract extension with the Blues.
The 30-year-old was expected to leave due to interest from clubs in the country, particularly local rivals Tamale City FC and Medeama SC.
He scored nine goals and assisted on nine others for RTU last season.
The club fought hard for survival in their first season back in the Ghana Premier League and will hope to make a strong case again in the coming season.
