Ghana star Thomas Partey named in Arsenal’s 33-man squad for USA pre-season tour

Ghana midfielder, Thomas Partey, has been added to the Arsenal roster for preseason training in the United State of America.

The 29-year-old is a member of the 33-man squad traveling to the North America for training.

A hat-trick from new striker Gabriel Jesus helped the Gunners defeat Nurnberg 5-3 in their preseason friendly last week. Partey did not travel to Germany with the team.

An earlier story claimed Partey wouldn’t travel with Arsenal to the US, but the Ghanaian midfielder is on a list that Mikel Arteta provided on Wednesday.

As the start of the new season draws near, he is anticipated to participate in Arsenal’s upcoming three games.

On Saturday, Arsenal will play its debut match in the United States against Everton.
