Mudasiru, Boadu, three other Asante Kotoko players get Black Stars call ups

Five Asante Kotoko players have been included in the Black Stars ‘B’ provisional squad ahead of their upcoming CHAN 2022 qualifiers.

The CHAN tournament is organised every two years by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for only players who play in the domestic championship of their country of origin.

The Black Stars B will know their opponents in the 2022 African Nation Championship qualification round at the draw which will be held at CAF headquarters in Cairo on May 26.

Head coach Annor Walker according to sources has included five Kotoko players in the yet-to-be announced squad.

Goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim, Mudasiru Salifu, Richard Boadu, Imoro Ibrahim and captain Abdul Ganiyu are the invited players from the league leaders.

The tournament is slated for Sun, Jan 8, 2023 – Tue, Jan 31, 2023, with Algeria as the host nation
