'He needs more games to return to his best' - Kotoko boss on Fabio Gama

Head Coach of Asante Kotoko Prosper Narteh Ogum says Brazilian playmaker Fabio Gama is not playing at the level they expect.

The Brazilian was not at his best self when Kotoko defeated King Faisal in Kumasi on Sunday afternoon but Prosper Narteh remains confident of the player regaining his lost form in no time.

The 29-year-old has played just ten games this season, having missed the 13 fixtures for the Porcupines due to injury in the Ghana Premier League.

He started his first game after his injury for the Porcupines against King Faisal and Ogum believes he will come good with time.

“If we are to go by the text book he should be ready after six games but I am sure by second or third game we will see him better because he’s lacking game fitness, his orientation on the field is not that good, his vision, his awareness and combination play is not the best. I will talk to him and we will see what happens”

Asante Kotoko left back Imoro Ibrahim scored an spectacular free kick as the Porcupine Warriors beat King Faisal 1-0 in Ghana Premier League Week 23 game at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Kotoko are on top of the league with 49 points, 10 better than Aduana who are second.
