Caf CC: Hearts Of Oak face-off with Algerian side JS Saoura in playoffs to the group stage

Hearts of Oak has been paired with Algerian topflight side Jeunesse Sportive de la Saoura, known simply as JS Saoura, in the playoffs to the group stage of the 2021/22 Caf Confederation Cup.

This was after a draw has been conducted at Caf headquarters in Cairo Tuesday morning.

The Phobians after they were eliminated by Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco who beat them 6-2 on aggregate joined 15 losing teams from the Champions League second preliminary round over the weekend.

The 2004 Confederation Cup winners will now battle out with Saoura, a club that was only founded in 2008.

Hearts will first host the green and yellows in Accra on Sunday, November 28 before travelling for the reverse leg the following weekend – December 5, 2021.
