Asante Kotoko sign highly-rated forward Samuel Boateng

Asante Kotoko has secured the services of highly-rated forward, Samuel Boateng in the ongoing transfer, according to Opemsuo Radio.

Boateng joins the Ghanaian powerhouse from Future Stars Academy, who has just qualified to play in the 2021/22 Division One League.

According to the report, Boateng – a skilled goal-scorer is expected to be announced as the new addition to the Reds squad in a three-year deal in the coming days.

He bagged 16 goals in the just ended Division Two league and helped his club, Future Stars to gain Division One status.

Asante Kotoko are currently busy on the transfer market for strategic signings after the acquisition of former Inter Allies midfielder Richmond Lamptey and Maxwell Agyemang of Wamanfo Mighty Royals FC.

They are also expected to announce the acquisition of Phar Rangers 16-year-old winger Clinton ‘Messi’ Opoku – who trained with the club on Monday afternoon at the Adako Jachie complex.
