Asante Kotoko to begin preseason today ahead of 2021/22 season

Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko will commence their preseason training on Monday, September, 20, 2021 ahead of the 2021/22 football season.

The players of the Porcupine Warriors are expected to report at the team’s training Complex at Adako Jachie this afternoon at exactly 3 pm.

Kotoko goes into the new season with a new trainer – Dr. Prosper Narteh-Ogum – after mutually parting ways with Portuguese gaffer Mariano Barreto.

The team will also be without captain Felix Annan, who has terminated his contract after 10 years of dedicated service.

However, the record Premier League champions have acquired the services of Richmond Lamptey from Inter Allies and Maxwell Agyemang from Mighty Royals.

They will be hoping to be in top share in their quest to win the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup after missing out on both last seasons.

The 2021/22 season is expected to commence October 29, 2021.
