Samuel Boadu’s Exit Affect Our Club – Medeama Communications Director admits.

Head of Communication for the Yellow & Mauves has postulated that the exit of their former trainer has affected their team greatly.

The Public Relations Manager for Medeama Sporting Club Patrick Akoto says how their former coach Samuel Boadu left their club [Medeama] has affected the team negatively to the extent that the team had to go through psychological trauma.

Samuel Boadu left Medeama for Hearts of Oak after Medeama’s 2-0 win over Eleven Wonders at the Akoon park in the week 16 of the Ghana Premier League, and Boadu has since been guarding the phobians as they [Hearts] lead the league table with 53 points.

Speaking to Kumasi based OTEC fm, Patrick Akoto claimed the Tarkwa based club never planned for a new coach however, Boadu’s exit has compelled them to hire a new two coaches.

“We didn’t plan for a new coach, he (Samuel Boadu) woke up one day after a game and told us he has resigned. Do you know the psychological trauma he took the club through? We were forced to go and hire two coaches” Akoto told OTEC FM

“A lot of things went on and it has really affected the club because the timing was wrong. That is why the club has resolved from the board that the matter must see its logical conclusion. We haven’t seen the last of it, we hope it’s become successful at the appeal” He added.

Medeama currently lies 4th on the league log with 46 points, same points with Karela United, who occupies the 3rd position.
