2023 AFCON Q: Angola coach Pedro Goncalves releases his 26-man squad for Ghana doubleheader

Head coach Pedro Goncalves has announced a 26-man squad for Angola’s upcoming double-header 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Ghana.

The squad includes three goalkeepers, seven defenders, seven midfielders, and nine attackers. Notable names in the squad list include M’bala Nzola, Jacinto Gelson Dala, and Nuriu Fortuna.

The first leg will take place on March 23 at the Baba Yara Sports stadium, with the second leg to be held in Luanda on March 27, 2023.

Ghana is currently tied for first place in Group E with four points after winning against Madagascar and drawing with the Central African Republic.

Last week, Ghana’s newly appointed head coach Chris Hughton revealed his 25-man squad for the games.
