Asante Kotoko failed to secure a win in their first-leg clash in the CAF Confederations Cup against Algerian giants ES Setif as they lost 2-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium Sunday.

In-form Kwame Opoku opened the scoring for the home side before the visiting side rallied back to score twice through Mohamed Amine Amoura and Ahmed Kendouci to win the game.
