Ghana target, Eddie Nketiah has been named in England squad for their Euro 2024 qualifiers.

England play Ukraine on 9 September in Poland, and Scotland in a friendly on 12 September.

The Arsenal striker who has been on the radar of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has been handed a call-up by Gareth Southgate following his impressive outings for the Gunners.

Nketiah was born in England to Ghanaian parents and was eligible to play for any of the two countries at the international level.

Despite featuring for the youth national teams for the English, the Ghana FA made an attempt to convince him to switch nationality to play for the West African country.
