Asante Kotoko defender, Christopher Nettey has touted the quality of the suspended 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
According to him, the season was competitive and that has brought the quality in most of the players.
The Ghanaian top-flight has been put on hold due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic.
The right-back tells Kotoko Express App that the season was ‘turning out to be the best in recent year’ before it was suspended indefinitely after the Covid-19 outbreak.

“This season was proving to be the most competitive in recent years until it was suspended,” observes the Christopher Nettey.
“Unlike the past years where a club could have been leading the league by a wider margin at this stage of the competition, the build-up of this year’s is very close.
“The competition is very intense at the top, middle and even at the bottom and just one win or slip could change a lot.”
The points between the clubs were minimalbefore the season was put on hold on match-day 15.
Ashgold at 5th position have three points adrift leaders, Aduana Stars, only four points separate 6th place Medeama from 10th place, Great Olympics with just three points also separating 11th place, Inter Allies and 15th place, Legon Cities.
