King Faisal head coach Slaviša Božičić has completed his three-year contract extension with the club.
The 54-year-old joined the Ghana Premier League side earlier this year in a short-term deal, but has extended his stay until July, 2023.
According to Oyerepa FM Slaviša Božičić will take home $3,000 as monthly salary, and has been given a target of reaching the Top 4 at the close of the season.
The Executive Chairman of the club, George Amoako is hoping that Slaviša Božičić gives them the needed results when football returns.
“We have no qualms with him and entering a 3-year permanent deal with him. We hope we can get the results from him,” he told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM.
King Faisal were languishing at the bottom of the 18-club League before the Ghana Football Association Executive Council cancelled the season on health grounds.
The Green and White amassed 6 points from 15 games.
The Ghana Premier League is tentatively set to begin second week in October based on government directive on the COVID-19 pandemic measures.
Oyerepa FM Sports also that Dr. Samuel Asiedu-Koranteng of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care Directorate of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital will head King newly formed medical team.
