Former Medeama coach, Hans Van der Pluijm has claimed selfish Ghanaian journalists push big clubs in Ghana to sign wrong players for their gains.
According to the Azam FC trainer, the journalists use their mediums to put pressure on club officials to secure the services of players they hold economic interest in.
Speaking in an interview with Ahomka FM, the Dutch man however failed to mention a name.
“The big clubs in the country often get their signings wrong because journalists with selfish interests have been recommending and pushing their players”.
The former AshantiGold and Berekum Chelsea trainer has ruled out a return to the Ghana Premier League. He indicated that coaches are not respected in the West African country.
Pluijm, who is married to a Ghanaian, has an extensive knowledge of the local game having spent close to two decades in country.
