President Akufo-Addo rewards Black Satellites; players get $10K each

Ghana President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced a cash reward of US$ 10,000 to each Black Satellites player for clinching recently ended 2021 Total Under-20 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Mauritania.

The president’s promise comes after the gallant Ghana U-20 side visited him at the Flagstaff House to present to him the trophy won at the tournament.

Akuffo-Addo also made a personal donation of $5,000 to Tournament Best Player Issahaku Abdul FatawHeadolden Glove winner Danlad Ibrahim, Captain Daniel Afriyie Barnie and head Coach of the team Karim Zito.

Ghana beat debutants Uganda 2-0 in the final on Saturday, March 6, 2021 to win the coveted trophy for the 4th time.
