Over 43 agents chasing Prince Adu Kwabena, says Bechem United CEO

Bechem United’s prolific youngster Prince Adu Kwabena has popped up on the radar of over 43 agents, according to the club’s Chief Executive Officer – Nana Kwasi Darlington.

Adu Kwabena, 16, took the truncated 2019-20 by storm with some wonderful displays for the Hunters, scoring 8 goals – on his debut season.

The 2016 MTN FA Cup winners are noted for nurturing great talents and it is not surprising to see agents circled around Prince Adu Kwabena.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Nhyira FM, Nana Kwasi disclosed the team could lose more than half of its first team players if football resumes.

“Currently, there are 43 agents who are chasing for the availability of our striker, Prince Adu Kwabena,” he told Kumasi-based Nhyira FM.

“Again, 8 of our first 11 squads will be sold out after this COVID-19 pandemic. We will replace them with our junior side,” he ended.

Football activities in the country have been cancelled by the Ghana Football Association Executive Council on health grounds after it became clear that, it will be difficult to restart.

The association is now planning on how to start a new season when the ban on football activities by the government of Ghana is finally lifted.
