Osei Kwame praises Felix Annan’s professionalism
2 min readGoalkeeper Emmanuel Osei Kwame has credited the team’s strength in terms of goalkeeping to the leadership style of his teammate and captain of the side – Felix Annan and unity in the goalkeeping department.
According to the former Inter Allies shot-stopper Annan has been Professional and that has brought unity among the goalkeepers despite the competition for the number one spot.
Osei has had a stiff competition from his teammates and he revealed to Kotoko Express App the impact Felix Annan has had on him and their relationship.
“We are all like brothers in a family, each of us is able to correct each other without taking offence. I am not getting the playing time that I wished for but we are all in good terms,” Osei Kwame told Kotoko Express App.
“Felix is my captain and I run to him anytime I have some challenges. I have learnt a lot from him since I joined the club because of the consistency he has had in his career. What is surprising about him is that, despite what he has achieved, he shows no signs of ego.”
“We do not joke with our training sessions but because of the bond between him, Kwame Baah and the rest of the goalkeepers, every session feels like fun. “
“Our goalkeepers trainers are the best and the four of us push each other to do more and to be better. I have experience in the league from my time with Inter Allies but as a professional, you never stop learning until your last training session to your retirement, so the secret to our goalkeeping success is the unity among us.”
