Only hard work and good leadership can return Hearts Of Oak to its glory days – Anthony Annan
1 min readFormer Accra Hearts of Oak and Black Stars player has voiced out his love for the Phobians and insisted only hard work will bring the glory days back.
The Phobians have not been able to win any major trophy since winning the Ghana Premier League in 2009. The 2000 CAF Champions League winners have been shambolic.
They have changed several coaches, but are yet to get the answers to their problems as they continue to chase their first league title in 10 years.
Speaking to Kumasi-based Akoma 87.9 FM, Annan stated that he would love to see his former club bounce back but that would be possible only with proper leadership style.
“There are three clubs that made me who I am today which includes Hasaacas, Vipers and Accra Hearts of Oak.
“I wish to see Hearts bounce back to the good old days but that can only be achieved with hard work and good leadership.”
Anthony Annan currently plays for FC Inter Turku in Finland.
