Nana Yaw Amponsah’s ‘right-hand man’ SK Boafo preaches unity among Asante Kotoko faithful

Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer’s closest ally, SK Boafo has advised all stakeholders of the club to eschew any form of disunity in order to attain success following the appointment of Nana Yaw Amponsah as new CEO of the club.

According to him, they have to come together and pursue the greater good of the club.

Nana Yaw Amoonsah was unveiled as the new CEO of the Porcupine Warriors on Friday, August 7, 2020, at a colourful ceremony held at the Sports Hotel, Kumasi.

Much is expected from the 2019 Ghana Football Association Presidential election aspirant due to the standard he has set for himself since entering into football management.

SK Boafo – who urged the visionary administrator to enter into football management in 2008 believes that that, his ally has the requisite knowledge to make Kotoko discover their glory days and will only need unity among the club faithful.

“Today, I saw the new board of directors and looking at the state of Kotoko now you could see change is coming. They unveiled their CEO which was not done previously, ” he told Kumasi-based Hello FM.

“I want to urge the supporters to burry any of their differences. The Board and management as well as the players and technical team should all come together to embrace the change which is coming.

“So let’s all come together and I know with the backing of Assnteman Kotoko will change. Now Nana Yaw is in and will be working with the board, so we should all come together. With that, we can make Kotoko number one club in Africa, ” he ended.

The Phar Rangers founder has been given three years to steer the affairs of the Ghanaian giants as they strive to attain elite status on the African continent.
