Mutawakilu Seidu rates Richard Kingson over Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer

Former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Mutawakilu Seidu has said that Richard Kingson was a better goalkeeper than Bayern Munich gem Manuel Neuer.

The German International was hugely praised by football pundits across the globe in the final game of the UEFA Champions League, but Seidu believes the former Black Stars International is his all-time best goalkeeper due to what he achieved at club and national team levels.

Seidu currently plays for Enugu Rangers in Nigeria.

According to Seidu, Kingson was underrated during his heydays and will always pick him ahead of World-class shot-stoppers like Manuel Neuer.

“My all-time best goalkeeper will be Richard Kingson.” Seidu is quoted to have told Awake Television.

“For Manuel Neuer and Buffon they have all the facilities and environment and that is why they are still playing. But for me, Richard Kingson is my all-time best goalkeeper (over Neuer, Buffon, etc)” Mutawakilu explained his opinion.

“Olele did well with the national team and for a Black goalkeeper to play outside for so many years I think he did well” the former Hearts Of Oak and Dreams FC goalkeeper added.
