Kum Apem Group donate to Kotoko fan who got paralyzed after Kotoko-Asec Caf CL clash in 1992
1 min readAsante Kotoko supporters wing Kuma apem Group have donated an amount of money and items worth GHS 4,500 to a loyal fan, Kwame Arhin, who got paralyzed during Asante Kotoko and Asec Mimosa Caf Champions League game in 1992.
The vibrant WhatsApp group founded by Prince Osei Agyekum (Hon Prince) decided to extend their usual gesture Mr. Arhin after he called for support in an interview with Kumasi-based Light FM.
The members within a spate of a week were able to raise over GHS 5,000 which they used a portion of it to purchase items requested by Mr. Kwame Arhin.
Among the items donated TODAY were Wheelchair, bags of rice, soaps, cooking oil, boxes of bottled water, milk, powdered milk, hand gloves, sanitizers, tin tomatoes, radio, a cash component of GHS 2000 and a customized Asante Kotoko jersey from Strike Ghana.
The president of the group, Big Joe led ta section of the group to present the items at his residence near Atonsu Agogo, a suburb in Kumasi.
Mr. Kwame Arhin is said to have taken a Black magic (juju) out of the goal posts of Asec Mimosa and had been paralyzed since today.
