Kudus Mohammed among 100 players nominated for 2020 Golden Boy Award
1 min readGhanaian international Kudus Mohammed has been nominated to be a potential winner of this year’s Golden Boy award.
The 19-year-old’s name featured among other ninety nine (99) names that will be vying for the award for the year 2020.
Kudus Mohammed has been exceptional for his side in Denmark FC Nordsjaelland scoring 8 goals and assisted one so far this season.
He had a breakthrough when he had his maiden senior National Team call up with the Black Stars and scored on his debut in November 2019.
The former Right to Dream product has placed himself well to fight for the enviable accolade from Erling Braut Haaland, Alphonso Davies, Ethan Ampadu, Myron Boadu, Ansu Fati, Phil Foden etc.
The award has previously been won by several players who rose to become great players like Lionel Messi, Raheem Sterling, Kylian Mbappe, Sergio Aguero, Francesc Fabregas, Wayne Rooney, Paul Pogba etc.
Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix is the current holder of the award when he won it in 2019.
