Asante Kotoko National Circles Council Chief, Christopher Damenya has offered to pay the salary arrears owed former Chief Executive Officer of the club – Mr. George Amoakoh – according to a report filed by Happy FM Sports.
The experienced football administrator was relieved off his duties after the new board of directors decided to disband the management of the Porcupine Warriors.
After a successful meeting with Dr. Kwame Kyei, the whole management team was dissolved to pave way for a new one.
Reports indicate Dr. Kwame Kyei informed the newly-constituted board that he had paid all outstanding salaries.

However, according to Prince Osei Agyekum, a former Nhyira FM presenter, George Amoakoh is owed five months salary arrears and has therefore, written to the nine-member board to demand for his unpaid salaries since February this year.
As a result, Christopher Damenya has decided to settle the debt because he feels it is a disgrace for the club to owe its former CEO, who served the club wholeheartedly.
