Kotoko necromancer Matthew Anim-Cudjoe ready for Black Stars call-up
1 min readAsante Kotoko prodigy Matthew Anim-Cudjoe says he is very much ready for an invitation to the Black Stars under the tutelage of CK Akonnor.
Cudjoe, 17, bas been scintillating for the Porcupine Warriors in his debut Ghana Premier League season, tormenting opponents with his silky runs and dribbling.
He says he e is mentally ripe and prepared to don the senior national team colours if invited.
“I have played for the Under-20 before and I did very well. I am ready to play for the Black Stars,” the Ghana U17 top latent told Asempa FM.
“It’s not about age. It’s about mentality. I know they will call me.
“I want him (C.K Akonnor) to call me. I have confidence that he will call me to play for the Black Stars.”
He has been touted by most pundits as one of the Ghanaian teenagers to make a mark in the country’s football.
Anim Cudjoe joined Asante Kotoko on a season-long loan deal from Division One League side Young Apostles FC.
He has underwent a two-week trials at German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich and is hoping to move in the summer training.
