Kotoko goalkeeper Osei Kwame undergoes successful surgery

Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Emmanuel Osei Kwame has undergone a successful surgery Wednesday to correct crucite ligament.

The operation was conducted by a team of doctors at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital. The injury date back to his time with his former side Inter Allies FC.

The shot-stopper expressed his hesrtfelt thanks to the team’s insurance company Hollard, who paid all the bills for the operation.

“I thank Hollard Insurance Company Limited so much for coming to my aid to sponsor the surgery,” Osei Kwame told Kotoko Express App when General Manager, Nana Akwasi Gyambibi visited him at the Accident and Emergency Unit at the KATH on Thursday.

“They have saved my career and I cannot thank them enough.”

“Injuries are part of football, so for as long as we continue to be in this sport, players will always be prone to it. My plea is that the supporters keep on doing business with Hollard Insurance so they can continue to flourish to be able to assist when injuries like this occur.”Osei Kwame also thanked the Management for all the attention it gave him throughout his time in the club.

“I thank the Management and the club. Players are mostly left on their own when they sustain an injury like mine. But the club stood by me through it all, and ensured that I get back to my feet.”

“I feel a new sense of happiness especially now that I am assured of full fitness. And I promise to come back stronger to fight for a place in the team.”
