Kotoko CEO position bigger than Ghana FA President position – Nana Yaw Amponsah

Newly-appointed Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah has stated that the Porcupine Warriors CEO position is bigger than Ghana Football Association President position.

His comment comes as a surprise to many as the affable football administrator contested for the GFA president last year, losing to Kurt Okraku.

Nana Yaw Amponsah was unveiled on Friday to take charge of the Reds day-to-day activities for the next three years. He pulled through a lot of challenges before he was named to replace George Amoako.

Nana Yaw Amponsah during his unveiling at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi stated that;

“I see Asante Kotoko and no disrespect to Ghana Football Association presidential position that I aspire to occupy, Kotoko for me is the biggest.”

He is expected to help Kotoko rediscover its glory days.
