Kai Havertz is set to sign a five-year deal with Chelsea after Bayern Leverkusen reportedly accepted a deal from the English giants.
£90million plus add-ons have been agreed between the two Clubs with the player set to reach personal terms with the blues.
Havertz has been on Chelsea’s radar since last season after he impressed in the German Bundesliga.
With Frank Lampard already acquiring the services of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Red Bull Leipzig attacker Timo Warner, Havertz could be the next on his way to Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are also said to be closing in on Paris Saint-Germain defender Thiago Silva who will be joining on a free transfer after his deal with the French Club expired.
According to Bild expert Christian Falk, the German international is all set to pen a contract with Chelsea.
Falk tweeted: “Leverkusen will soon accept Chelsea’s offer for @kaihavertz29.
“The transfer is perfect.
“5 years contract for Havertz. Total Transfer fee 100 Mio Euro including adds on.”
Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has already hinted his outfit has received offers for the 21-year-old.
Chelsea are keen to win the English Premier League title for the seventh time.
