Jackson Owusu says he would welcome a return to Kotoko
1 min readFormer Asante Kotoko midfielder, Jackson Owusu, who is currently a free agent says he will not turn down an opportunity to rejoin the club again.
Owusu became a free agent after after his one-year deal with Kenyan side Gor Mahia came to an end. He told Kotoko Express App that, he would welcome a return to the Porcupines should he be approached.
Jackson signed for Gor Mahia after interest from Steven Polack who desires to keep the plater who says he will welcome a return home despite interest from the Scottish coach.
“Of course, I have had some interest from a host of clubs including some in the Kenyan league,” he confirms to Kotoko Express App.
“But, my relationship with Coach Steve Polack always makes it difficult for me. He has had to block some deals but to be honest, he knows my love for Kotoko and should there be an offer, I will accept it and come back home because I know what Kotoko is about. I will differently accept and play with the same seriousness and desire.”
The defensive midfielder joined the Porcupines in 2015 and left in 2019. He commanded a regular role in the team, winning the FA Cup under Coach Steven Polack who now handles Gor Mahia.
