Isaac Asiamah calls for unity among football fraternity; urges members of GFA to protect the sanctity of the game
1 min readMinister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Isaac Asiamah has implored all stakeholders in Ghana football to rally behind the current administration to succeed.
He called on the football fraternity to help keep the brand name of the mother association in high esteem as they strive to develop Ghana football.
Asiamah explained that negative comments from football people about the game is not prudent and should be avoided. He revealed it drives away corporate bodies from sponsoring the products of the Ghana FA.
He was speaking at the 26th Ghana Football Association Ordinary Congress at the Guanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram.
“When you damage a brand it affects you. It is critical. We need to make it attractive. Let’s are guided by these principles. Sanctity, Integrity and Image of the game,”
The Member of Parliament of the Atwima Mponua District in the Ashanti Region assured members of government’s continuous support as a strategic partner in the development of football in the country.
