Former Asante Kotoko striker Seidu Bancey has disclosed that he is ever ready to return to the club.

The 30-year-old is currently unattached after cancelling his contract with Tunisian outfit ES Zarzis.

Inn an interview with OMY TV, Seidu Bancey who scored 43 goals in 83 games for Kotoko expressed his readiness to return to the domestic top-flight.

He believes that he still have what it takes to play in the local league, and is ready to take Ghana football by storm should any club approach him for his services especially his former side, Kotoko.

“After terminating my contract with ES Zarzis in Tunisia I’m now back to Ghana. I picked up a knee injury but I’m full fit now and ready for any local team. Even if it’s Kotoko I’m ready to play for the team again.

“Despite me terminating my contract with the North African side if I have another opportunity to sign in a different team there I will accept it,” he added.

Bancey was part of the Ghana U-23 team during the 2011 CAF U-23 Championship qualifications.

He was also a member of the Ghana squad at the 2014 African Nations Championship in South Africa where the Black Stars B finished as runners-up.

He joined Kotoko in 2012 from Ebusua Dwarfs and spent two seasons with the Porcupines before leaving for Egyptian side Smouha.

Bancey netted 11 goals in his final season (2013-2014) Ghana premier league for Kotoko before his departure but missed out on the top scorer’s award to Augustine Okrah who was then playing for Bechem United.

Bancey won two league titles with Kotoko and one FA Cup trophy which he was the hero in the final game against Inter Allies after scoring an extra-time winner.
