Loanee Ibrahim Osman has sent a farewell message to King Faisal coach Slaviša Božičić as we hear Asante Kotoko have recalled him.
The attacking midfielder was loaned to King Faisal by the Porcupines Warriors prior to the start of the cancelled 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
He was fantastic throughout his stay with the White and Green às he netted 8 goals in 15 games, with 3 assists before the season was truncated due to the novel COVID-19 pandemic.
Reports indicate Asante Kotoko trainer Maxwell Konadu has recalled the enterprising midfielder as he feels he is now riped to fight for a place in the team.
Following the expiration of his loan deal with King Faisal sent a WhatsApp message to his coach to herald his imminent departure from the side and appreciated the club for the opportunity.
Confirming this, head coach of King Faisal Slaviša Božičić told Oyerepa FM, “It is true that Osman thanked me for what I gave him at King Faisal.”
Asante Kotoko have been given the nod to represent Ghana in next season’s Caf Champions League after the Ghana Football Association Executive Council cancelled the season.
Although Otumfuo Osei Tutu II has placed a one-year embargo on player recruitment, reports indicate the board of directors of the club will talk to Manhyia to seek for permission to sign at least a player.
