Former Ghana coach, Goran Stevanovic says he will not turn down an opportunity to coach the Black Stars again.
The Serbian signed in 2011 and led the four-time African champions to the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations, but got sacked adter the team failed to reach its target.
Speaking in an interview with Kumasi-based Ashh FM, Stevanovic indicated that he will not hesitate to to return to coach the Black Stars.
“I will not hesitate even for a second to say “Yes” when given opportunity again to coach the Black Stars. Because, I feel I have unfinished business with the team, there is something I started that I couldn’t finished and will be very happy to coach the Black stars again in future.”
He also praised Kwesi Appiah for tremendous job done after his departure.
“Coach Kwesi Appiah who was my assistant those days also did a very good job for me and I wasn’t surprised seeing him as the head coach for the Black Stars and I must admit he did a very good job for the country.”
He however ruled out at a chance of coaching a club in the country.
“I’m not ready to coach any club in Ghana, it will be very difficult for me to coach at the club level but with all due respect I feel the national team is what I always dream for” Stevanovic concluded.
