I will not advice any young player to play for Hearts Of Oak – Joe Tagoe

Former Hearts of Oak forward, Joe Tagoe has shockingly revealed that he will not advice young players who approach him as to which club to play for, to choose his former club.

According to him, the current administration lacks the technical know-how to help players get to the top in their careers.

In an interview with Accra-based Ashaiman TV, ‘Bobby Short’ says he will nit advice any player to join the Rainbow Club to face the same problems he and other colleagues faced during their era.

“The managements of Hearts of oak are not good in terms of managing a club. At first, when playing football, your first motive is to play for Hearts or Kotoko,”

“We have learnt our lessons now and we wouldn’t want the next generation to fall victim. I’ll not advice young players who come to me for advise, to play for Hearts,”

Tagoe is not the only ex-player of Hearts of Oak to remark negatively about their former employers.

The diminutive playmaker wants the current managers of the club to invite him to peruse why he and some former players are bad-mouthing the record holders of the FA Cup.
