1 min readAduana Stars mercurial attacker, Yahaya Mohammed has said he is ready to take a pay-cut amid the COVID-19 disease crisis.
Football activities and other related issues are at a standstill due to the widespread of the novel pandemic globally.
The situation has created a huge financial implications about how activites are financed. Almost all sources of revenue are off due to the COVID pandemic.
Some clubs have urged their players to slash their monthly income to lessen club’s of financial constraints.
Mohammed indicated that it should however be agreed between management and players.
“I will be the first person to accept pay-cut at Aduana Stars,” he told Kumasi-based Sikka FM.
“Issues of pay-cut should be a consensus between players and Management of clubs.
“Playing Premier League games behind closed doors will affect club owners big time.”
The Ghana Premier League is on hold due to the COVID-19 disease.
