Former Asante Kotoko shot-stopper Osei Boateng has disclosed that his greatest dream in life now is to join the technical bench of English Premier League giants Manchester United.

According to the former Ghana Premier League star, who currently works as the goalkeepers trainer for Division One League club Accra Lions FC, he is working tirelessly with the hope to snatching an opportunity to work with Manchester United.

He, however, revealed he has no plans to work with his former club, Kotoko soon.

“I aspire to become a goalkeeper’s trainer for Manchester United, that’s the dream i am fighting for,” he said in an interview with Kumasi-based Ashh FM.

“Though I will want to work with Kotoko but not anytime soon”

Osei Boateng joined Asante Kotoko from Great Olympics in 2000 and left after two seasons to join Heart of Lions in 2003.

The 39-year-old who retired in 2015 was in post when Kotoko lost the 2002 African Cup winners Cup in Kumasi to Moroccan side Wydad Athletic Club.

He was also Ghana’s first choice when the Black Starlets lost to Brazil during the 1997 Fifa U-17 World Cup held in Egypt.
