HIGHLIGHTS: Asante Kotoko 1-1 Kharis Sports Academy

During their pre-season preparations in Nsuta Beposo, Asante Kotoko faced off against Kharis Sports Academy in a friendly match at the K.K. Sarpong Sports Complex, resulting in an engaging 1-1 draw.

Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum put forth a formidable starting lineup that included newly acquired players.

Despite their strong Premier League team, Asante Kotoko fell behind due to a brilliant goal from Ebenezer Kobina of Kharis Sports Academy in the first half.

Asante Kotoko made efforts to equalize before halftime, but without success. In the second half, they adjusted their lineup and introduced players like Richmond Lamptey, Enoch Morrison, and Eric Serge Zeze with the goal of scoring, yet the determined lower-tier side resisted their attacks.

A defensive lapse eventually allowed Eric Serge Zeze to level the score in the 89th minute.
